In line with our company’s long-term growth and profitability objectives, we are seeking a Finance Director who will be responsible for the strategic management, reporting, and optimization of all financial and fiscal processes. The successful candidate will provide the Board of Directors with a clear financial vision and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Public Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or Master’s degree in Finance is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant qualification (SMMM); international certifications such as CFA or CMA are preferred.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Proven experience in managing the financial feasibility, financing, budgeting, cash flow, risk management, and reporting processes of domestic and international investments.
- Strong experience in managing relationships with domestic and international banks, investment funds, development banks, and financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial feasibility studies and profitability analyses for investment projects.
- Identify financing requirements and manage processes with banks, investment funds, development banks, and international financial institutions.
- Evaluate project financing, debt financing, equity financing, and alternative financing models.
- Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial projections.
- Analyse foreign exchange, interest rate, country, liquidity, and other financial risks, and implement appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- Monitor and manage taxation, accounting, capital transfer, and financial regulatory requirements in the countries where investments are made.
- Coordinate processes with legal, tax, audit, and advisory firms.
- Conduct financial due diligence and valuation studies as part of mergers, acquisitions, and partnership transactions.
- Monitor the financial performance of investments and provide regular reports to senior management, the Board of Directors, and investors.
- Oversee the financial control and consolidation of international subsidiaries and ensure effective coordination between overseas operations and the head office.
